The area

Hahndorf, Australia's oldest surviving German settlement that enjoys thousands of visitors each year,  is 20 minutes drive away.

Close to Hahndorf is the Adelaide Hills wine region, well worth a visit.

The McLaren Vale winery region, showcasing many wineries and local produce, is also 20-25 minutes drive away.

And of course South Australia offers a wide variety of landscapes, events and destinations.

Getting around

The studio is 2 minutes by car, or 15 minutes walk, from Blackwood Village shopping Centre. 
Closest bus stop is 34 on Main Road, serviced by 601, 601B and 605. See map of southern area bus routes.
Blackwood's train/bus interchange (~15 minutes walk if above route bus timetable unsuitable) has good train and bus services to the city, and bus services to Flinders University, Flinders Hospital and Westfield Marion shopping Centre.

There is a 30-40 minute drive to Adelaide Airport, approximately a $50 taxi fare.
